(23) No doubt, in the Hereafter, they will be the losers.

(24) Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?

(25) And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

(26) "If you were to obey a human being like yourselves, then verily you indeed would be losers.

(27) They are those for whom there will be an evil torment (in this world). And in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.

(28) Say (to them O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Sufficient is Allah for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth." And those who believe in Batil (all false deities other than Allah), and disbelieve in Allah and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers.

(29) Then he (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers.

(30) So worship what you like besides Him. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Verily, that will be a manifest loss!"
