(32) And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat.

(33) And never comes there unto them a reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Gracious (Allah), but they turn away therefrom.

(34) By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust.

(35) Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur'an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe .

(37) And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, then turns aside therefrom? Verily, We shall exact retribution from the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners).

(38) You can only warn him who follows the reminder (the Qur'an), and fears the Most Gracious (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).

(39) And We have not taught him (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) poetry, nor is it suitable for him. This is only a reminder and a plain Qur'an.

(40) And when they are reminded, they pay no attention.
