(381) O you who believe! let not (one) people laugh at (another) people perchance they may be better than they, nor let women (laugh) at (other) women, perchance they may be better than they; and do not find fault with your own people nor call one another by nicknames; evil is a bad name after faith, and whoever does not turn, these it is that are the unjust.

(382) The dwellers of the desert say: We believe. Say: You do not believe but say, We submit; and faith has not yet entered into your hearts; and if you obey Allah and His Apostle, He will not diminish aught of your deeds; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(383) And the garden shall be brought near to those who guard (against evil), not far off:

(384) Then he turned aside to his family secretly and brought a fat (roasted) calf,

(385) So he brought it near them. He said: What! will you not eat?

(386) Then We brought forth such as were therein of the believers.

(387) It did not leave aught on which it blew, but it made it like ashes.

(388) And (as for) those who believe and their offspring follow them in faith, We will unite with them their offspring and We will not diminish to them aught of their work; every man is responsible for what he shall have wrought.

(389) Or has He daughters while you have sons?

(390) The day on which their struggle shall not avail them aught, nor shall they be helped.
