(371) O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.

(372) (They will say), "O ye Unbelievers! Make no excuses this Day! Ye are being but requited for all that ye did!"

(373) They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!"

(374) Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)?

(375) Because he possesses wealth and (numerous) sons.

(376) Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused).

(377) "Eat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone!"

(378) But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers.

(379) And collect (wealth) and hide it (from use)!

(380) Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them.
