(342) O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.

(343) Only those are Believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones.

(344) But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state.

(345) Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation?

(346) "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!"

(347) Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life.

(348) Then he turned quickly to his household, brought out a fatted calf,

(349) But We found not there any just (Muslim) persons except in one house:

(350) (To them will be said:) "Eat and drink ye, with profit and health, because of your (good) deeds."
