(112) And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are as blocks of wood propped up. They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies, so beware of them. May Allah curse them! How are they denying (or deviating from) the Right Path?

(113) And Maryam (Mary), the daughter of 'Imran who guarded her chastity. And We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Ruh [i.e. Jibril (Gabriel) ], and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the words of Allah: "Be!" - and he was; that is 'Îsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) as a Messenger of Allah], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qanitun (i.e. obedient to Allah) .

(114) That this is verily, the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibril (Gabriel) or Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم which he has brought from Allah].

(115) It is not the word of a poet: little is that you believe!

(116) Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller): little is that you remember!

(117) Verily, We shall send down to you a weighty word (i.e. obligations, laws).

(118) Verily, the rising by night (for Tahajjud prayer) is very hard and most potent and good for governing oneself, and most suitable for (understanding) the word (of Allah).

(119) "This is nothing but the word of a human being!"

(120) Verily, this is the word (this Qur'an brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibril (Gabril), from Allah to Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم].
