(23) And as for the boy, his parents were believers and we feared lest he should make disobedience and ingratitude to come upon them:

(24) And dutiful to his parents, and he was not insolent, disobedient.

(25) O my father! serve not the Shaitan, surely the Shaitan is disobedient to the Beneficent Allah:

(26) (As for) the fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them, (giving) a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them detain you in the matter of obedience to Allah, if you believe in Allah and the last day, and let a party of believers witness their chastisement.

(27) And if the truth be on their side, they come to him quickly, obedient.

(28) And they swear by Allah with the most energetic of their oaths that if you command them they would certainly go forth. Say: Swear not; reasonable obedience (is desired); surely Allah is aware of what you do.

(29) So when they ride in the ships they call upon Allah, being sincerely obedient to Him, but when He brings them safe to the land, lo! they associate others (with Him);

(30) And His is whosoever is in the heavens and the earth; all are obedient to Him.
