(32) Say (O Muhammad): Who is Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say: Allah. Say: Take ye then (others) beside Him for protectors, which, even for themselves, have neither benefit nor hurt? Say: Is the blind man equal to the seer, or is darkness equal to light? Or assign they unto Allah partners who created the like of His creation so that the creation (which they made and His creation) seemed alike to them? Say: Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Almighty.

(33) Hast thou not seen that Allah hath created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He will, He can remove you and bring (in) some new creation;

(34) Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth, and causeth water to descend from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you, and maketh the ships to be of service unto you, that they may run upon the sea at His command, and hath made of service unto you the rivers;

(35) Verily We created man of potter's clay of black mud altered,

(36) And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire.

(37) He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered!

(38) We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness.

(39) He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him).

(40) He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent.
