(122) Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the fire!

(123) (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay."

(124) When some trouble toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning to Him in repentance: but when He bestoweth a favour upon him as from Himself, (man) doth forget what he cried and prayed for before, and he doth set up rivals unto Allah, thus misleading others from Allah's Path. Say, "Enjoy thy blasphemy for a little while: verily thou art (one) of the Companions of the fire!"

(125) They shall have Layers of fire above them, and Layers (of fire) below them: with this doth Allah warn off his servants: "O My Servants! then fear ye Me!"

(126) Is, then, one against whom the decree of Punishment is justly due (equal to one who eschews Evil)? Wouldst thou, then, deliver one (who is) in the fire?

(127) Thus was the Decree of thy Lord proved true against the Unbelievers; that truly they are Companions of the fire!

(128) Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing fire!

(129) "And O my people! How (strange) it is for me to call you to Salvation while ye call me to the fire!

(130) "Without doubt ye do call me to one who is not fit to be called to, whether in this world, or in the Hereafter; our return will be to Allah; and the Transgressors will be Companions of the fire!
