(81) If only the Unbelievers knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces, nor yet from their backs, and (when) no help can reach them!
(82) We said, "O fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for Abraham!"
(83) About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship, him will he lead astray, and he will guide him to the Penalty of the fire.
(84) (Disdainfully) bending his side, in order to lead (men) astray from the Path of Allah: for him there is disgrace in this life, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (fire).
(85) These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water.
(86) "But those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them,- they will be Companions of the fire."
(87) When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"
(88) The fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced.
(89) Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.
(90) Never think thou that the Unbelievers are going to frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth: their abode is the fire,- and it is indeed an evil refuge!
