(2) It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

(3) And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.

(4) It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice

(5) however, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger.

(6) however, he who turns away and disbelieves -
