(43) "Taste ye then - for ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours, and We too will forget you - taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!"

(44) Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!"; and He has prepared for them a generous Reward.

(45) We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear:

(46) The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the meeting of This Day of yours?" The answer will be: "True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!"

(47) Raised high above ranks (or degrees), (He is) the Lord of the Throne (of Authority): by His Command doth He send the Spirit (of inspiration) to any of His servants he pleases, that it may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual meeting,-

(48) Ah indeed! Are they in doubt concerning the meeting with their Lord? Ah indeed! It is He that doth encompass all things!

(49) So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised.

(50) It will also be said: "This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours! and your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye!
