(3) But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused.

(4) She said, "That is the one about whom you blamed me. And I certainly sought to seduce him, but he firmly refused; and if he will not do what I order him, he will surely be imprisoned and will be of those debased."

(7) So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse, so al-Khidh r restored it. [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment."

(8) And We certainly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he denied and refused.

(9) And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused.

(10) Indeed, those who disbelieve will be addressed, "The hatred of Allah for you was [even] greater than your hatred of yourselves [this Day in Hell] when you were invited to faith, but you refused."
