(1206) (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars.

(1207) Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?-

(1208) And that they say what they practise not?-

(1209) Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!

(1210) As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction.
