(32) We only send the messengers to give Glad tidings and to give warnings: But the unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth, and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!

(33) So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.

(34) And He it is Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy, and We send down pure water from the sky,-

(35) But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition.

(37) But the Hoopoe tarried not far: he (came up and) said: "I have compassed (territory) which thou hast not compassed, and I have come to thee from Saba with tidings true.

(38) Or, Who guides you through the depths of darkness on land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? (Can there be another) god besides Allah?- High is Allah above what they associate with Him!

(39) Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful.

(40) O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad tidings, and Warner,-
