Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my offspring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)."

(52) That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His favour on you, and guide you on the Straight Path,

(53) (This is) a Grace from Allah and His favour. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

(54) They regard as favour to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) that they have embraced Islam. Say: "Count not your Islam as a favour to me. Nay, but Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the Faith if you indeed are true.

(55) As a favour from Us. Thus do We reward him who gives thanks (by obeying Us).

(56) And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of obedience to Allah as a favour to Him).

(57) And who has (in mind) no favour from anyone to be paid back,
