(1251) Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame;

(1252) Most surely the punishment of your Lord will come to pass;

(1253) Those who sport entering into vain discourses.

(1254) Saying: Surely we feared before on account of our families:

(1255) Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman.

(1256) Or have they the treasures of your Lord with them? Or have they been set in absolute authority?

(1257) And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise;

(1258) Your companion does not err, nor does he go astray;

(1259) They are naught but names which you have named, you and your fathers; Allah has not sent for them any authority. They follow naught but conjecture and the low desires which (their) souls incline to; and certainly the guidance has come to them from their Lord.

(1260) Therefore turn aside from him who turns his back upon our reminder and does not desire anything but this world's life.
