(71) Then We have made you follow a course in the affair, therefore follow it, and do not follow the low desires of those who do not know.

(72) What! is he who has a clear argument from his Lord like him to whom the evil of his work is made fairseeming: and they follow their low desires.

(73) Obedience and a gentle word (was proper); but when the affair becomes settled, then if they remain true to Allah it would certainly be better for them.

(74) That is because they say to those who hate what Allah has revealed: We will obey you in some of the affairs; and Allah knows their secrets.

(75) Nay! you rather thought that the Apostle and the believers would not return to their families ever, and that was made fairseeming to your hearts and you thought an evil thought and you were a people doomed to perish.

(76) He said: What is your affair then, O apostles!

(77) And they call (it) a lie, and follow their low desires; and every affair has its appointed term.

(78) His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and to Allah are (all) affairs returned.

(79) Like those before them shortly; they tasted the evil result of their affair, and they shall have a painful punishment.

(80) And (as for) those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, if you have a doubt, their prescribed time shall be three months, and of those too who have not had their courses; and (as for) the pregnant women, their prescribed time is that they lay down their burden; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah He will make easy for him his affair.
