(71) O you who believe! let those whom your right hands possess and those of you who have not attained to puberty ask permission of you three times; before the morning prayer, and when you put off your clothes at midday in summer, and after the prayer of the nightfall; these are three times of privacy for you; neither is it a sin for you nor for them besides these, some of you must go round about (waiting) upon others; thus does Allah make clear to you the communications, and Allah is knowing, Wise.

(72) And when the children among you have attained to puberty, let them seek permission as those before them sought permission; thus does Allah make clear to you His communications, and Allah is knowing, Wise.

(73) And (as for) women advanced in years who do not hope for a marriage, it is no sin for them if they put off their clothes without displaying their ornaments; and if they restrain themselves it is better for them; and Allah is Hearing, knowing.

(74) Surely He is the Hearing, the knowing.

(75) And most surely you are made to receive the Quran from the Wise, the knowing Allah.

(76) Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing.

(77) Whoever hopes to meet Allah, the term appointed by Allah will then most surely come; and He is the Hearing, the knowing.

(78) And how many a living creature that does not carry its sustenance: Allah sustains it and yourselves; and He is the Hearing, the knowing.

(79) Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and hoary hair after strength; He creates what He pleases, and He is the knowing, the Powerful.

(80) Surely Allah is He with Whom is the knowledge of the hour, and He sends down the rain and He knows what is in the wombs; and no one knows what he shall earn on the morrow; and no one knows in what land he shall die; surely Allah is knowing, Aware.
