(1) And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

(2) And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon.

(3) And to Allah prostrates whoever is within the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion, and their shadows [as well] in the mornings and the afternoons.

(4) So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [Allah] in the morning and afternoon.

(5) They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon.

(6) O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

(7) And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

(8) And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.

(9) And exalt Him morning and afternoon.

(10) And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.
