(21) And We bestowed on him [Ibrahim (Abraham)], Ishaq (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and We ordained among his offspring prophethood and the Book [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) (to Musa - Moses), the Injeel (Gospel) (to 'Îsa - Jesus), and the Qur'an (to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), all from the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham)], and We granted him his reward in this world; and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous.

(22) And indeed We have set forth for mankind, in this Qur'an every kind of parable. But if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) bring to them any sign or proof (as an evidence for the truth of your prophethood), the disbelievers are sure to say (to the believers): "You follow nothing but falsehood, and magic."

(23) We made his kingdom strong and gave him Al-Hikmah (prophethood) and sound judgement in speech and decision.

(24) Verily those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, without any authority having come to them, there is nothing else in their breasts except pride [to accept you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) as a Messenger of Allah and to obey you] . They will never have it (i.e. prophethood which Allah has bestowed upon you). So seek refuge in Allah (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم from the arrogants). Verily, it is He Who is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

(25) And when 'Îsa (Jesus) came with (Our) clear Proofs, he said: "I have come to you with Al-Hikmah (prophethood), and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) in which you differ. Therefore fear Allah and obey me.

(26) And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the prophethood; and provided them with good things, and preferred them above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn of their time, during that period),

(27) And indeed We had firmly established them with that wherewith We have not established you (O Quraish)! And We had assigned them the (faculties of) hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts; but their hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and their hearts availed them nothing since they used to deny the Ayat (Allah's Prophets and their prophethood, proofs, evidence, verses, signs, revelations) of Allah, and they were completely encircled by that which they used to mock at!

(28) And indeed, We sent Nuh (Noah) and Ibrahim (Abraham), and placed in their offspring prophethood and Scripture. And among them there are some who are guided; but many of them are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

(29) And He found you unaware (of the Qur'an, its laws, and prophethood) and guided you?

(30) And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the prophethood and all other Graces).
