(3) And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic."

(4) He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected."

(5) They are, [in fact], dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.

(6) And they say, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected as a new creation?"

(7) That is their recompense because they disbelieved in Our verses and said, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected [in] a new creation?"

(8) Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.

(9) Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.

(10) They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
