(1) And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful.

(2) And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.

(3) Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful.

(4) And when adversity touches you at sea, lost are [all] those you invoke except for Him. But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away [from Him]. And ever is man ungrateful.

(5) Indeed, Allah defends those who have believed. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone treacherous and ungrateful.

(6) And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful.

(7) And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful."

(8) Said one who had knowledge from the Scripture, "I will bring it to you before your glance returns to you." And when [Solomon] saw it placed before him, he said, "This is from the favor of my Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful - his gratitude is only for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever is ungrateful - then indeed, my Lord is Free of need and Generous."

(9) And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, there are [some] of them who are moderate [in faith]. And none rejects Our signs except everyone treacherous and ungrateful.

(10) [By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?
