(51) There is no god but He; He gives life and causes death, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore.

(52) And surely I take refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me to death:

(53) There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again.

(54) They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell,

(55) And (in) the variation of the night and the day, and (in) what Allah sends down of sustenance from the cloud, then gives life thereby to the earth after its death, and (in) the changing of the winds, there are signs for a people who understand.

(56) Nay! do those who have wrought evil deeds think that We will make them like those who believe and do good-- that their life and their death shall be equal? Evil it is that they judge.

(57) And those who believe say: Why has not a chapter been revealed? But when a decisive chapter is revealed, and fighting is mentioned therein you see those in whose hearts is a disease look to you with the look of one fainting because of death. Woe to them then!

(58) And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape.

(59) And that He it is Who causes death and gives life-

(60) We have ordained death among you and We are not to be overcome,
