(32) And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)-

(34) That He did create in pairs,- male and female,

(35) In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favours bestowed upon you. For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster,-

(36) O ye who believe! Turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of Allah, of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves.

(37) And (have We not) created you in pairs,

(38) But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me!"

(39) Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?-

(40) And a tongue, and a pair of lips?-
