(25) Restrain thyself along with those who cry unto their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His Countenance; and let not thine eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who followeth his own lust and whose case hath been abandoned.

(26) And (be mindful of) the Day when He will say: Call those partners of Mine whom ye pretended. Then they will cry unto them, but they will not hear their prayer, and We shall set a gulf of doom between them.

(27) When he cried unto his Lord a cry in secret,

(28) Then the wizards were (all) flung down prostrate, crying: We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses.

(29) And this their crying ceased not till We made them as reaped corn, extinct.

(30) So the (Awful) cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk!
