(2) And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.

(3) It is He who created you from one soul and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her. And when he covers her, she carries a light burden and continues therein. And when it becomes heavy, they both invoke Allah, their Lord, "If You should give us a good [child], we will surely be among the grateful."

(4) Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.

(5) It is He who shows you lightening, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy clouds.

(6) For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.

(7) And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful.

(8) Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word.

(9) Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
