(11) All-Knower of the Unseen and the seen, the Most Great, the Most high.

(12) See you not how Allah sets forth a parable? A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (i.e. very high).

(13) And verily! They (the cities) were right on the highroad (from Makkah to Syria i.e. the place where the Dead Sea is now) .

(14) So, We took vengeance on them. They are both on an open highway, plain to see.

(15) He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. high is He, Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him.

(16) For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

(17) This is (part) of Al-Hikmah (wisdom, good manners and high character) which your Lord has revealed to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم). And set not up with Allah any other ilah (god) lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from Allah's Mercy).

(18) Glorified and Exalted be He! high above (the great falsehood) that they say! (i.e. forged statements that there are other gods along with Allah, but He is Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none comparable or coequal unto Him).

(19) And We raised him to a high station.

(20) A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens.
