(141) When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Wali (Supporter and Protector). And in Allah should the believers put their trust.

(142) (Remember) when you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) said to the believers, "Is it not enough for you that your Lord (Allah) should help you with three thousand angels sent down?"

(143) That He might cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or expose them to infamy, so that they retire frustrated.

(144) O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful.

(145) And fear the Fire, which is prepared for the disbelievers.

(146) Many similar ways (and mishaps of life) were faced by nations (believers and disbelievers) that have passed away before you (as you have faced in the battle of Uhud), so travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allah, and disobeyed Him and His Messengers).

(147) So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.

(148) If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).

(149) And that Allah may test (or purify) the believers (from sins) and destroy the disbelievers.

(150) Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.
