(1201) Saying: "Aforetime, we were afraid (of the punishment of Allah) in the midst of our families.

(1202) Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)] or are they people transgressing all bounds?

(1203) Or do they say: "He (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has forged it (this Qur'an)?" Nay! They believe not!

(1204) Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief.

(1205) Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) are themselves plotted against!

(1206) The (Prophet's) heart lied not in what he (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) saw.

(1207) Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names.

(1208) They belied (the Verses of Allah - this Qur'an), and followed their own lusts. And every matter will be settled (according to the kind of deeds: good deeds will take their doers to Paradise, and similarly evil deeds will take their doers to Hell).

(1209) Hastening towards the caller. The disbelievers will say: "This is a hard Day."

(1210) 'Ad (people) belied (their Prophet, Hud); then how (terrible) was My Torment and My Warnings?
