(61) Say: "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (message).

(62) They will say: "Glory to Thee! not meet was it for us that we should take for protectors others besides Thee: But Thou didst bestow, on them and their fathers, good things (in life), until they forgot the message: for they were a people (worthless and) lost."

(63) "He did lead me astray from the message (of Allah) after it had come to me! Ah! the Evil One is but a traitor to man!"

(64) But there comes not to them a newly-revealed message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom.

(65) They have indeed rejected (the message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at!

(66) Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)?

(67) And thou hadst not expected that the Book would be sent to thee except as a Mercy from thy Lord: Therefore lend not thou support in any way to those who reject (Allah's message).

(68) "And if ye reject (the message), so did generations before you: and the duty of the messenger is only to preach publicly (and clearly)."

(69) (It is the practice of those) who preach the messages of Allah, and fear Him, and fear none but Allah. And enough is Allah to call (men) to account.

(70) Never did We send a warner to a population, but the wealthy ones among them said: "We believe not in the (message) with which ye have been sent."
