(66) And when he turned his face towards Madyan, he said: Maybe my Lord will guide me in the right path.

(67) And saying: Cast down you staff. So when he saw it in motion as if it were a serpent, he turned back retreating, and did not return. O Musa! come forward and fear not; surely you are of those who are secure;

(68) He punishes whom He pleases and has mercy on whom He pleases, and to Him you shall be turned back.

(69) And if you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth and made the sun and the moon subservient, they will certainly say, Allah. Whence are they then turned away?

(70) And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away.
