(63) And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand?

Thus Allah makes clear the Ayat (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs) to you that you may understand.

(65) Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle - nay, they are even farther astray from the Path (i.e. even worse than cattle).

(66) [Musa (Moses)] said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!"

(67) And indeed We have left thereof an evident Ayah (a lesson and a warning and a sign - the place where the Dead Sea is now in Palestine) for a folk who understand.

(68) And these similitudes We put forward for mankind; but none will understand them except those who have knowledge (of Allah and His Signs).

(69) And among His Signs is that He shows you the lightning, for fear and for hope, and He sends down water (rain) from the sky, and therewith revives the earth after its death. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who understand.

(70) Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who know not [the proofs and evidence of the Oneness of Allah i.e. those who try not to understand true facts that which you (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) have brought to them].
