(831) Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves. Thou (O Muhammad) seest them bowing and falling prostrate (in worship), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) acceptance. The mark of them is on their foreheads from the traces of prostration. Such is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel - like as sown corn that sendeth forth its shoot and strengtheneth it and riseth firm upon its stalk, delighting the sowers - that He may enrage the disbelievers with (the sight of) them. Allah hath promised, unto such of them as believe and do good works, forgiveness and immense reward.

(832) The wandering Arabs say: We believe. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Ye believe not, but rather say "We submit," for the faith hath not yet entered into your hearts. Yet, if ye obey Allah and His messenger, He will not withhold from you aught of (the reward of) your deeds. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(833) The (true) believers are those only who believe in Allah and His messenger and afterward doubt not, but strive with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah. Such are the sincere.

(834) We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book.

(835) And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters,

(836) Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead.

(837) He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready.

(838) And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness.

(839) Who setteth up another god along with Allah. Do ye twain hurl him to the dreadful doom.

(840) Who feareth the Beneficent in secret and cometh with a contrite heart.
