(14) Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)

(15) (It is said unto them): This is (your plight) because, when Allah only was invoked, ye disbelieved, but when some partner was ascribed to Him ye were believing. But the command belongeth only to Allah, the Sublime, the Majestic.

(16) And when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom.

(17) This, forasmuch as ye made the revelations of Allah a jest, and the life of the world beguiled you. Therefor this day they come not forth from thence, nor can they make amends.

(18) And unto Him (alone) belongeth Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

(19) He is Allah, than Whom there is no other Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).

(20) And when they returned to their own folk, they returned jesting;
