(31) And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the communications of his Lord, then he turns away from them and forgets what his two hands have sent before? Surely We have placed veils over their hearts lest they should understand it and a heaviness in their ears; and if you call them to the guidance, they will not ever follow the right course in that case.

(32) So he followed a course.

(33) Then he followed (another) course.

(35) They shall not hear therein any vain discourse, but only: Peace, and they shall have their sustenance therein morning and evening.

(36) So they disputed with one another about their affair and kept the discourse secret.

(37) We know best what they say, when the fairest of them in course would say: You tarried but a day.

(38) And (We made subservient) to Sulaiman the wind blowing violent, pursuing its course by his command to the land which We had blessed, and We are knower of all things.

(39) And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy in this world and the hereafter, a grievous chastisement would certainly have touched you on account of the discourse which you entered into.

(40) He said: I did it then while I was of those unable to see the right course;
