(41) And let those who do not find the means to marry keep chaste until Allah makes them free from want out of His grace. And (as for) those who ask for a writing from among those whom your right hands possess, give them the writing if you know any good in them, and give them of the wealth of Allah which He has given you; and do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, when they desire to keep chaste, in order to seek the frail good of this world's life; and whoever compels them, then surely after their compulsion Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(42) What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment?

(43) He said: O my people! why do you seek to hasten on the evil before the good? Why do you not ask forgiveness of Allah so that you may be dealt with mercifully?

(44) Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on.

(45) And they ask you to hasten on the chastisement; and had not a term been appointed, the chastisement would certainly have come to them; and most certainly it will come to them all of a sudden while they will not perceive.

(46) They ask you to hasten on the chastisement, and most surely hell encompasses the unbelievers;

(47) And the trumpet shall be blown, when lo! from their graves they shall hasten on to their Lord.

(48) So in their footsteps they are being hastened on.

(49) So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening.

(50) What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement?
