(1023) (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this. Now We have removed from you your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!"

(1024) There they will have all that they desire - and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic جل جلاله).

(1025) And how many a generation We have destroyed before them who were stronger in power than they. And (when Our Torment came), they ran for a refuge in the land! Could they find any place of refuge (for them to save themselves from destruction)?

(1026) Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Qur'an).

(1027) And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty.

(1028) [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Then for what purpose you have come, O Messengers?"

(1029) They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah)

(1030) And We have left there a sign (i.e. the place of the Dead Sea in Palestine) for those who fear the painful torment.
