(1) Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

(2) Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds and humbled themselves to their Lord - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide eternally therein.

(3) And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice.

(4) If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled.

(5) She said, "Indeed kings - when they enter a city, they ruin it and render the honored of its people humbled. And thus do they do.

(6) And [warn of] the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allah wills. And all will come to Him humbled.

(7) And you will see them being exposed to the Fire, humbled from humiliation, looking from [behind] a covert glance. And those who had believed will say, "Indeed, the [true] losers are the ones who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, the wrongdoers are in an enduring punishment."

(8) Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,

(9) If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.

(10) Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.
