(112) He causes the night to enter in upon the day, and He causes the day to enter in upon the night, and He has made subservient (to you) the sun and the moon; each one follows its course to an appointed time; this is Allah, your Lord, His is the kingdom; and those whom you call upon besides Him do not control a straw.

(113) Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall be brought back.

(114) Then he looked at the stars, looking up once,

(115) And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones.

(116) Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any

(117) And We strengthened his kingdom and We gave him wisdom and a clear judgment.

(118) He said: My Lord! do Thou forgive me and grant me a kingdom which is not fit for (being inherited by) anyone after me;

(119) So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him.

(120) He has created you from a single being, then made its mate of the same (kind), and He has made for you eight of the cattle in pairs. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers-- a creation after a creation-- in triple darkness; that is Allah your Lord, His is the kingdom; there is no god but He; whence are you then turned away?
