(1924) Or have they the means by which they listen? Then let their listener bring a clear authority.

(1925) Leave them then till they meet that day of theirs wherein they shall be made to swoon (with terror):

(1926) And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know.

(1927) And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise;

(1928) So he was the measure of two bows or closer still.

(1929) They are naught but names which you have named, you and your fathers; Allah has not sent for them any authority. They follow naught but conjecture and the low desires which (their) souls incline to; and certainly the guidance has come to them from their Lord.

(1930) Nay! for Allah is the hereafter and the former (life).
