(801) O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones; over it are angels stern and strong, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.

(802) And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning.

(803) And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort.

(804) Or are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not send down upon you a punishment? Then shall you know how was My warning.

(805) Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment?

(806) Such is the chastisement, and certainly the chastisement of the hereafter is greater, did they but know!

(807) Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand?

(808) Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe.

(809) So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not:

(810) So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress.
