(14) But verily thy Lord,- to those who do wrong in ignorance, but who thereafter repent and make amends,- thy Lord, after all this, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(15) Unless they repent thereafter and mend (their conduct); for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(16) "Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)."

(17) In that situation were the Believers tried: they were shaken as by a tremendous shaking.

(18) In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty.

(19) Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah's Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise.

(20) "And they have devised a tremendous Plot.
