(51) Say: O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure.

(52) Therefore be patient; surely the promise of Allah is true; and ask protection for your fault and sing the praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

(53) So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned.

(54) And none are made to receive it but those who are patient, and none are made to receive it but those who have a mighty good fortune.

(55) If He pleases, He causes the wind to become still so that they lie motionless on its back; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one,

(56) And whoever is patient and forgiving, these most surely are actions due to courage.

(57) Therefore bear up patiently as did the apostles endowed with constancy bear up with patience and do not seek to hasten for them (their doom). On the day that they shall see what they are promised they shall be as if they had not tarried save an hour of the day. A sufficient exposition! Shall then any be destroyed save the transgressing people?

(58) And most certainly We will try you until We have known those among you who exert themselves hard, and the patient, and made your case manifest.

(59) And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(60) Therefore be patient of what they say, and sing the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting.
