(22) And those who fly for Allah's sake after they are oppressed, We will most certainly give them a good abode in the world, and the reward of the hereafter is certainly much greater, did they but know;

(23) And when you forsake them and what they worship save Allah, betake yourselves for refuge to the cave; your Lord will extend to you largely of His mercy and provide for you a profitable course in your affair.

(24) He will say: Even so, Our communications came to you but you neglected them; even thus shall you be forsaken this day.

(25) And the Apostle cried out: O my Lord! surely my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing.

(26) So taste, because you neglected the meeting of this day of yours; surely We forsake you; and taste the abiding chastisement for what you did.

(27) Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for Allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement.

(28) And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet?

(29) What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators,

(30) Surely We have revealed to you the Book with the truth for the sake of men; so whoever follows the right way, it is for his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its detriment; and you are not a custodian over them.
