(263) Neither is it allowable to the sun that it should overtake the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day; and all float on in a sphere.

(264) Did I not charge you, O children of Adam! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy,

(265) And that you should serve Me; this is the right way.

(266) And if We please We would certainly put out their eyes, then they would run about groping for the way, but how should they see?

(267) And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones.

(268) o Dawood! surely We have made you a ruler in the land; so judge between men with justice and do not follow desire, lest it should lead you astray from the path of Allah; (as for) those who go astray from the path of Allah, they shall surely have a severe punishment because they forgot the day of reckoning.

(269) He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones?

(270) Say: I am commanded that I should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience.
