(981) Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel; like as seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.

(982) Surely those who lower their voices before Allah's Apostle are they whose hearts Allah has proved for guarding (against evil); they shall have forgiveness and a great reward.

(983) And if they wait patiently until you come out to them, it would certainly be better for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

(984) And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds,

(985) And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped,

(986) And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein.

(987) Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp.

(988) And the garden shall be brought near to those who guard (against evil), not far off:

(989) And certainly We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched Us not any fatigue.

(990) Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains.
