(621) And know that among you is Allah's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But Allah has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you Unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness;-

(622) O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

(623) But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state.

(624) To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah).

(625) And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;-

(626) It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.

(627) We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us.

(628) Bear, then, with patience, all that they say, and celebrate the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting.

(629) And during part of the night, (also,) celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the postures of adoration.

(630) Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there,
