(44) And thus have We inspired in thee (Muhammad) a Spirit of Our command. Thou knewest not what the Scripture was, nor what the Faith. But We have made it a light whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen. And lo! thou verily dost guide unto a right path,

(45) So hold thou fast to that which is inspired in thee. Lo! thou art on a right path.

(46) Say: I am no new thing among the messengers (of Allah), nor know I what will be done with me or with you. I do but follow that which is inspired in me, and I am but a plain warner.

(47) It is naught save an inspiration that is inspired,

(48) And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it.
