(12) And We utterly confounded them, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay.

(13) And they say: When we are bones and fragments, shall we forsooth, be raised up as a new creation?

(14) Say: Be ye stones or iron

(15) That is their reward because they disbelieved Our revelations and said: When we are bones and fragments shall we, forsooth, be raised up as a new creation?

(16) Saying: My Lord! Lo! the bones of me wax feeble and my head is shining with grey hair, and I have never been unblest in prayer to Thee, my Lord.

(17) And of the evil ones (subdued We unto him) some who dived (for pearls) for him and did other work, and We were warders unto them.

(18) Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators!

(19) Doth he promise you that you, when ye are dead and have become dust and bones, will (again) be brought forth?

(20) Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate.
